Director
Alex Horn has worked in the property industry for over a decade, building a track record across development management, asset management and strategic advisory: originating, structuring and delivering complex projects on behalf of landowners, businesses and investors. Having built his career through periods of economic volatility, Alex has developed a reputation for clear judgement, resourcefulness and the ability to unlock value in challenging situations.
His experience spans strategic land, planning-led projects, income-producing assets and repositioning opportunities, across the full project lifecycle: from identifying opportunities and shaping strategy, through planning, delivery and asset management, to realising value for the parties involved.
That track record led to the creation of Layer Eight: a focused, execution-led business combining disciplined strategy with hands-on development and asset management, strategic advice for businesses, and partnership capital where a project needs it to move.
